We're preparing something new at WaveLength.com-a page for you to show off your sweetheart, the one you like to spend every spare weekend with, the one you dream of taking to exotic places, the one you rely upon when the going gets rough. Not your wife, husband or lover. I mean your kayak, of course. If you've built your own boat or made some interesting modification and want to show it off, or just have a lovely paddling picture you'd like to share, send it along for our consideration.

Perhaps you have a photo of you and your sweetheart in some strange circumstance or gorgeous setting. Better yet, perhaps you have a shot to tickle our funnybones - funny is good!

You'll find the photos from this issue's already posted there, just to get us started. And we'll look at all future submissions with an eye to possible publication in the magazine, if they have special merit.

You can email your photos to webmaster@wavelength magazine.com. And you're welcome to add a short caption for the photo, to a maximum of 20 words.

We prefer to receive jpegs. If sending prints or slides, please send copies only-we can't be responsible for returning them. Here's looking at you!
