In addition to the detailed maps, the book contains comprehensive information on hiking trails, mountain biking trails, paddling routes, fresh and saltwater fishing opportunities, diving sites and wilderness camping.

The convenient mapbook format offers maps quite different from any existing recreational maps. It features small scale (1 cm = 1 km), road names, prominent land features clearly labeled, making for easy navigation to your destination. All recreational opportunities are emphasized in red.

Clayoquot Sound Map Now Available

The Western Canada Wilderness Committee has produced a new multicolour map/guide which shows the Clayoquot Valley Witness Trail, with photographs, notes on each section of the trail, hiking times, distances, levels of difficulty, points of interest, contact information, etc. The map can be ordered for $19.95 (plus shipping and handling) from the Wilderness Committee at 1-800-661-9453.


Meares Island Trail Map

The Tla-o-qui-aht First Nations in conjunction with the Western Canada Wilderness Committee has published a small guide map to the Meares Island Big Cedar Trail in Clayoquot Sound, near Tofino. Contact the Wilderness Committee at 1-800-661-9453.
