Sea Kayaking in Baja

by Andromeda Romano-Lax

Sections on "natural pleasures," fishing, whale watching, wildlife watching and just-plain how to enjoy yourself. The section on how to fish from a kayak will bring a smile to your face. The author's description of the birdlife, over 400 species, is not only informative but environmentally sensitive. Personal adventures with pelicans, cormorants, frigate-birds, boobies, and gulls are pitted against run-ins with black jackrabbits and fish-eating bats.
